CLUB SHOOTERS - Marshal Ace

“I love hearing an exciting new track and having a vision for how I'll use it in my set.”

“Music always was my first love.. Starting out, many DJ’s don’t make it because success in this industry is dressed in overalls and looks like hard work. You don’t realise you can make a living out of being a DJ if you have the true passion to pursue it.”

“I love hearing an exciting new track and having a vision for how I'll use it in my set. My influences, such as Ultra-Sonic, Peewee Ferris, Nick Skitz, Martin Solveig and Klubbheads, have played a major roll in my DJ style. I really believe in these DJs work, it has definitely been a major source of inspiration.”

Despite his many successes, Marshal Ace remains grounded about his achievements and clearly loves making and playing music as one of the residents at Shooters Lounge Bar & Nightclub.

CLUB SHOOTERS - BRETT ALLEN

 “...major festival appearance at Summerfiedayze"

Brett Allen has lived a fabled life in music. He was first introduced to dance music at the age of 6, and while most of us were hiding teeth under our pillows, Brett would stash away broken records in the hope that the Vinyl Fairy might replace them with fresh samples.

After receiving his first set of decks at the age of 13, Brett began eagerly collecting vinyl, initially favouring progressive trance, and then moving towards more house and electro tunes. It was only a year later that Brett was appearing in front of crowds happily breaking his curfew.

In the beginning of 2008 Brett began the Electrik Nation Podcast which aims to showcase the latest releases in dance music. Since its first instalment Electrik Nation has seen continued success. It was first picked for a weekly broadcast by 105.7 Radio Metro, and is now also available to ears in Brisbane on Switch 1197, and in Darwin on Kik FM.

Partnering up with James Todman to form Rave Radio Production Group, and releasing the debut single Only Chance, was just the beginning for 2009. In February the two went on to form Midnight Music, a label dedicated to releasing their own music while at the same time supporting potential up and coming dance producers.

Brett’s goal has, and will always be, to deliver the best sounds to your ears. With his tireless commitment and passion when it comes to music, you are certain to be hearing a lot more from him in the coming years.
